Sporting News - Spring Break thru 3/28

Jr. High Sports

Both girls and boys track teams participated in the district track meet Monday. The girls ran in Kountze, and the boys ran in Anahuac. We had 40 girls and 32 boys participating. Congratulations to all our Jr. High Track event winners!

High School Spring Sports

Girls Golf

Our Varsity girls are preparing for the district tournament to be held on April 7th at Wildwood.

Boys Golf

Our Varsity boys hosted the Warren Tournament last Monday at Wildwood. Our team finished 7th. Today the boys are playing in Orange. This will be the last tournament before the district tournament on April 7th at Wildwood.

Baseball

Our baseball team is off to a 1-3 start in district play. We lost 2 games over Spring Break. District action this week includes a home game Tuesday with Kountze and a trip to Hardin on Friday.

Softball

Our softball team concluded the first round of district play with a 5-1 record. We lost 2-1 to Anahuac and defeated Buna 14-4 during Spring Break. The Lady Warriors hosted Kountze on Monday and will travel to Hardin on Friday.

Track

Our boys and girls track teams will travel to Woodville this Friday. This will be our last meet until the district meet on April 4th and April 8th at Kountze.

Tennis

Our tennis team is busy preparing for the district meet which will be held next Wednesday at Lamar.
