The McKinney Vento Act (Homelessness) allows students to enroll in school if one of the following conditions are met.
*Student lives in a shelter (family shelter, domestic violence shelter, youth shelter, or transitional living program).
*Student lives in a motel, hotel, or weekly-rate housing.
*Student lives in a house or an apartment with more than one family due to an economic hardship.
*Student lives in an abandoned car, at a campground, or on a street.
*Student lives in temporary foster care or with an adult who is not the parent of legal guardian.
*Student lives in substandard housing (no electricty, water, heat, adequate plumbing).
*Student lives wtih friends or family because the student is a runaway or unaccompanied youth.
If the student meets one of the above conditions, the student may enroll without providing the following documents.
*Proof of Residency
*Immunization Records
*Birth Records
*Legal Guardianship
