The Warren Independent School District is proud to announce that Mrs. Kristina Wiedman, Principal of Warren Junior High, has been selected as the Region 5 Middle School Principal of the Year by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP).

This distinguished honor recognizes Mrs. Wiedman’s exceptional leadership, commitment to academic excellence, and her daily impact on students, staff, and the broader Warren community. As a campus leader, Mrs. Wiedman is known for fostering a supportive school culture where student success is the top priority.

“Mrs. Wiedman exemplifies what it means to be a servant leader,” said Lindsey Thompson, Warren ISD Instructional Technologist. “Her passion for education through data-driven decision making, and her dedication to creating a positive learning environment make her an outstanding choice for this award.”

The TASSP Principal of the Year awards are presented to school leaders who exhibit exemplary performance in instructional leadership, school culture, and student achievement across the state of Texas.
