Warren ISD is proud to celebrate Savannah Hudson, a dedicated educator at Fred Elementary School, for being selected to receive a scholarship from the Texas Farm Bureau to attend the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference.
While attending the conference, Hudson had the opportunity to explore hands-on agricultural experiences, including visiting an orchard, a hydroponic crate farming operation, and a local farmers market. She returned with real-world insights to enrich classroom learning and connect students with the vital role agriculture plays in their everyday lives.
In addition to the field visits, Hudson participated in a series of engaging workshops, built lasting professional connections with fellow educators, and discovered additional educational opportunities and resources available through the Texas Farm Bureau.
Her passion for learning and commitment to bringing agriculture education to elementary students is truly commendable. Warren ISD thanks the Texas Farm Bureau for supporting educators like Hudson and providing experiences that directly impact student learning in meaningful ways.
