WES GRANDPARENTS DAY LUNCH WAS A SUCCESS!🖤🧡 We’d love to see your photos! If you captured a special moment during the event, please share your pictures in the comment section below! 📸

A special day was had yesterday at Warren Elementary School! We loved celebrating the love, wisdom, stories, and beautiful memories shared by our Warrior grandparents.

Thank you to all of our grandparents who took the time to join us and fill our little Warriors’ lives with so much love, happiness, and joy! Your presence means more than you know. 🧡

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make this event so special - from set-up, to serving during the event, to cleaning up afterward! It truly took our Warrior family coming together to make the day such a success.

From our high school volunteers who generously gave their time, to our little Warriors who insisted they were the strong ones and needed to help carry tables during set-up - we are so thankful for every helping hand! 💪🧡

And a thank you to our WES PTO for creating the beautiful photo booth and helping make the day even more memorable! 📸🧡

Thank you for helping us celebrate our amazing Warrior grandparents and for making this such a memorable day for our students and families! 🧡🖤

Warren ISD recently identified a phishing incident involving unauthorized access to portions of our email system. Upon discovery, our IT security team immediately secured the affected accounts and initiated a comprehensive investigation to determine the scope of the incident.

We are pleased to confirm that our preliminary investigation indicates no student personally identifiable information (PII) was accessed or leaked during this incident.

While our investigation is ongoing, we want to ensure our community remains vigilant. Phishing incidents typically involve fraudulent emails designed to trick recipients into clicking malicious links or disclosing sensitive personal information.

What You Should Do:

* Be Skeptical: Exercise caution when opening emails from unknown senders or unexpected communications, even if they appear to come from a known contact.
* Do Not Click: Avoid clicking links or downloading attachments in suspicious emails.
* Verify Requests: If you receive an email requesting sensitive information, passwords, or financial transactions, verify the request through a trusted, secondary communication channel (such as a phone call to a known office number).
* Report Suspicious Activity: If you receive a suspicious email, please forward it to support@warrenisd.net and then delete it from your inbox.

We take the security of your information very seriously and are working diligently to strengthen our systems and prevent future occurrences. We apologize for any concern this may cause and appreciate your cooperation in keeping our district network secure.

Sincerely,

Warren ISD Administration

We want to share an important update regarding Warren ISD’s participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Please see the image for a letter from Superintendent Minyard. Due to reimbursement shortfalls and rising operational costs that led to a significant budget deficit, the district has made the difficult decision to opt out of the program. We remain committed to supporting our families, and we encourage you to apply for free or reduced-price meals individually through our online portal or by using the paper forms available at each campus.

Meet the Teacher Information

Make sure you have the 2026–2027 District Instructional Calendar saved! 🎉

Reminder on what is new for this upcoming year:
You’ll notice something new on the calendar - two designated Parent Conference Days built into the schedule. These are essentially staff work days and student holidays. These days are included in the calendar in response to recent Texas legislation, specifically Texas Senate Bill 12 (89th Legislative Session). As part of this law, school districts are now required to provide at least two in-person parent-teacher conference days each year to ensure families have meaningful opportunities to engage in their child’s academic progress.

📅 Take a moment to review the full calendar and mark your important dates! We’re looking forward to another great year at Warren ISD!
