On Tuesday, our volleyball team hosted Anahuac. Our Freshman team won 2-1 and the JV team won 2-0. Our Varsity came up short after a valiant effort. Way to go ladies! On Wednesday, the Tyler County Fair kicked off and I will post our successes next week. The fair will continue through the weekend. Also, our District Wildlife team competed in the McGee Bend Wildlife contest and posted a victory. Congratulations Team! Olivia Cowart medaled in the varsity girls division and the boys varsity team did a great job as well. Cole West placed 18th, Freddie Wolfe 19th, Aaden King 23rd, and Isaac Allen placed 35th. Way to go team. On Monday our FFA held its Annual Freshman FFA Mixer and had a great time! Thank you to our FFA for hosting the event and for all those that came out! Tuesday, our volleyball team traveled to East Chambers and fought some tough contests. The Freshman team breezed through in two straight sets for the win. Our JV lost 2-1 in a hard contested game. Our Varsity girls played with energy but came up short in the nightcap. Way to battle ladies! Wednesday, Mrs. Dean and I took Emma Smith and Ruby Spurlock to our Rotary Club meeting in Woodville as student representatives. At the meeting we received the signature necessary to start our Rotary Interact Club at Warren High School as the Woodville Rotary Club will sponsor our new club. We currently have 15 students signed up to participate in what I anticipate will be an outstanding inaugural year. Thank you to Emma, Ruby, Mrs. Dean and the Woodville Rotary Club! On Thursday our JV football team traveled to New Waverly for a physical contest. Our guys took home a 22-20 victory in true gridiron fashion. Way to go guys! Today our Ducks Unlimited Wildlife Team had a field day in what was certain to be a great day. At lunch our Math Department sponsored a teacher luncheon at the High School. Thanks Math Team! Later today our volleyball team will travel to Hardin to take on the Hornets! Good Luck ladies! Tonight our Varsity football team will take on New Waverly at 7 pm here at Bo Isaacs Stadium. Today the American public observes Patriot Day, an annual observance of the those who were killed or injured in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Among the tragedy and heartache, rose incredible acts of heroism from first responders and ordinary people. Today we celebrate our nation's ability to come together in the face of intense devastation, and remember those who gave their lives in order to save others.

Today at the end of school a small fire originated in the high school’s culinary room. It was a stove top fire that was quickly submerged via an extinguisher. There is no damage to the room. This post is to ensure we provide details to our community, thank y'all.
