📢 Warren ISD Encourages Community Participation!

Below are links to the Residential and Business surveys related to the DETCOG Regional Action Plan. DETCOG is a voluntary association of local governments in the 11-county region encompassing all of Angelina, Houston, Nacogdoches, Newton, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity and Tyler Counties. DETCOG is currently developing a Broadband Strategic Plan to better understand residents' current access to, and satisfaction with, internet services.

Your feedback is vital in helping guide growth and development in our communities. Please also share these links with friends, family, and business owners within the DETCOG region — the more voices they hear, the better the plan will be!

🌟 Today we celebrate Texas Education Human Resources Day! 🌟

Governor Greg Abbott proclaimed October 8, 2025 as a day to honor the vital contributions of Texas Education Human Resources professionals across our state.

At Warren ISD, we proudly recognize Mrs. Cindy Kelley, who ensures our district is staffed with great employees and that all staff have the support they need to succeed.

Texas education human resources (HR) professionals are responsible for managing a school district’s most valuable asset: its people. They do this via:
✔️School Staffing
✔️ Provide guidance and assistance to employees
✔️Substitute Orientation and Scheduling
✔️ Support employee benefits and payroll
✔️Certified Employee Recruitment and Orientation
✔️Personnel Policies and Regulations
✔️Certification Issues
✔️Leaves of Absence
✔️Contracts
✔️Personnel Data/Records Management
✔️Criminal History Checks
✔️Personnel Directory
✔️Posting of Staff Vacancies
and so much more!

🧡 Mrs. Kelley’s dedication behind the scenes makes a tremendous difference for our students, staff, and community every single day.

👏 Please join us in saying a heartfelt THANK YOU to Mrs. Cindy Kelley for all that she does for Warren ISD. Your work matters, and we are grateful!
