The Warren High School blood drive is two weeks away on 09/04/2024 from 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM. As the date approaches, we’d love your help in spreading the word to ensure we have a fantastic turnout. Our goal for this blood drive is 25 donors, these donations will be a great help to local patients in need!
Did you know that 80% of the organization's blood collections come from mobile drives like the one WISD is hosting? These drives are essential in providing the necessary blood products to local hospitals and patients in need.

🩺Attention Staff & Families: New Medication Policy Update:
Starting this school year, all over-the-counter (OTC) medications will require an MD/Physician’s order for administration by our nursing staff. This requirement is standard nursing guidelines to ensure we continue to follow best practices for medication safety and patient care.
Key Points:
An MD/Physician’s order must be on file for any OTC medication (e.g., Tylenol, Advil, cough syrup, etc.) before it can be administered by a nurse.
A parent/ guardian will also need to sign permission for the nurse to administer any medications and treatment to their child.
Please make sure to provide an updated order and permission from your healthcare provider if OTC medications are needed.

WISD's Community-Wide Pep Rally is happening on October 7th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and we need YOU! Whether you’re a food truck or a local business, let’s make this event one to remember.
🚚 Food Truck Vendors - Make sure you bring your own generators to keep the energy going all night!
🔌 Smaller Booths - We’ve got you covered with extension cords to power up your setups.

Mark your calendars for our Grandparent's Day! Grandparents or special friends are invited to join their students for lunch during their regular lunchtimes on Monday, September 9, 2024.
We kindly ask that visitors be limited to four per student. Please remember that all visitors must present a valid ID to enter the building. Additionally, only those with the right to transport students will be allowed to sign them out.
