Greetings Warrior Family!
This is Keith Collins, principal at Warren High School with our Friday Warrior Word. This week we voted in our Homecoming Court. They are as follows: 9th Grade: Halley Dean and Holly Wood, 10th Grade: Makayla Buller and Makayla McGowan, 11th Grade: Baylee Bordelon and Callie Unsworth, 12th Grade: Chloe Johnston, Emily Jones, Olivia Meredith and Allie Tillerson. Congratulations to these ladies! Monday, our FFA put on a successful Freshman mixer. Thank you to students for participating and big shout out to the following students for planning and carrying out the Mixer: Emily Jones, Hallie Foret, Sam Standley, Hunt Reid, Cole Walters, Hunter Parker, Sarah DeCorte and Olivia Meredith. A big thanks to the Ag teachers Mr. Currie, Mr. Spivey and Mr. Swinney as well! Way to go FFA! On Tuesday our Volleyball teams squared off against PA Memorial and took home a couple of wins. The freshman team pushed the Titans to a third game but came up short. The JV swept PA in two straight sets and our Varsity squad took 3 out of 4 sets for the win. Way to go ladies! Cross Country did an awesome job on Wednesday running at the Jackson Hill Marina at the Broaddus meet! Olivia Cowart came home with a 7th place medal in the girls Varsity division and Cole West won a ninth place medal in the boys Varsity division. Everyone did a great job and improved on their time considering they had to run in the rain. Thursday, our JV football team traveled to HJ and took on the Hawks. We came up short in the game but our offense and defense made some big plays highlighted by Caleb Houghton throwing the ball for some big yardage. Way to go JV! Tonight is a big night for Warren as our volleyball team will be traveling to Anahuac and our football team will be traveling to Sabine Pass. Volleyball gets things started at 4:30 and football kickoff is at 7 pm. We pray for safe travels, player safety, and victories. Also, keep your OFF handy at both locations because it's been wet and the skeeters will be in flight. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend. And as always Go Warriors!

It's GAME DAY at WJH!

Today, we commemorate Patriot Day, also recognized as the National Day of Service and Remembrance. It is a day to honor and remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Let us always remember the profound impact this day had on our nation and the significance of unity in times of adversity. As a school district, let us instill in our Warriors the values of compassion, unity, and remembrance as we reflect on this moment in history. 🇺🇸

This is Keith Collins, Principal at Warren High School, with an important attendance announcement. At Warren High School we value attendance. The correlation between attendance rate and academic performance and growth is positive and significant. As such, we are offering incentives to encourage students to attend regularly. Here's a summary of the attendance incentives at the high school:
Daily Incentive: A grade level with perfect attendance for the day will receive an ice cream treat. This promotes teamwork and attendance across all classes within a particular grade level.
Weekly Incentive: Individual classes in our 2nd period with perfect attendance for a 14 day period will receive a popcorn party. This incentive encourages individual classes to ensure that all their students are present.
Monthly Incentive: If a grade level achieves an attendance rate of 96.5% or greater for the month, they will be awarded with a pizza party. This encourages consistent attendance throughout the month, as well as some healthy competition among the grade levels.
Individual Perfect Attendance Incentive: If a student earns perfect attendance for an entire 9 week period, the student will be recognized by the campus, earn an extra draw in the Warrior Drawings and snack of their choosing.
These incentives serve as positive motivators for students to attend school regularly, thereby improving their academic performance and fostering a strong sense of community and pride within the school. I hope everyone has a magnificent Monday and a wonderful week!

Our volleyball teams continue to roll this year. Our freshman volleyball team won all three games to open up the Silsbee tournament on Thursday rolling past PA Memorial, Silsbee and Kirbyville. Our varsity volleyball team opened the Hardin Jefferson tournament by losing a couple hard fought games with West Fork (New Caney ISD) and LCM. However, they rebounded to sweep Kountze in their last game. Congratulations and a way to go to both our Varsity and Freshman teams. Our JV volleyball team headed to Silsbee today to start their side of the bracket. Let’s bring home some W’s ladies! Varsity volleyball heads back to HJ to continue their tournament as well looking to nab some victories today. All three volleyball teams will be in action on Saturday in HJ (Varsity) and Silsbee (sub varsity). Good luck to volleyball today and tomorrow! Keep those victories stacking up! JV football hosted Elkhart yesterday and fought through a tough and muddy game. We came up short but we will keep fighting! Good game boys! Our varsity football team will travel to Elkhart tonight with kickoff set for 7:30. Good luck guys and let’s get that win! I also want to send a prayer for traveling grace for our volleyball teams, football teams, cheer, drill teams and fans today and tomorrow! I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday and a wonderful three day weekend. And as always Go Warriors!

Greetings Warrior Family!
This is Keith Collins, principal at Warren High School with our Friday Warrior Word. I want to start things off with an important reminder that there will be no school on Monday in observance of Labor Day. Our Varsity volleyball team continues to be on a roll as they won the Warren Invitational Tournament this past weekend. They performed at a high level and beat some very good teams. Brenna and Allie Tillerson both earned all tournament honors. Congratulations Lady Warriors! On Tuesday, our volleyball teams hosted Beaumont United and swept the Lady Timberwolves. Our Freshman team won 2 games to 1. Our JV volleyball team won in two straight matches. The Varsity volleyball team won the first three matches in a best of 5. A truly dominant performance for our ladies! Cheering them on was our student section, The Curve. This committee is organized by student Gracie Jeselink and staff member Mrs. Brandy Meredith. A huge shoutout to these two and our outrageously spirited student section! On Wednesday our CC team traveled to Hemphill for a meet. Wyatt Fowler did an awesome job winning first place and Gerardo Zamora won 15th place out of 50 plus runners!!! Tucker Holmes, Jordan Choate, and Tripp Yawn also did a great job running yesterday. Way to go team! On Thursday, our JV football team traveled to Hardin to battle in the rain. JV came up short in a tough fought game but played with a lot of energy. Keep at it guys! Our Varsity football opens the season tonight at home against Hardin. Kickoff is set for 7 pm. Let’s get after the Hornets guys! Our volleyball teams travel today for their slate of games. The Freshman volleyball team traveled to LCM to begin their tournament. The Varsity and JV volleyball teams travel to WO-S and are set for first serve at 4:30. Good luck to all three of our teams and let’s get those dubs! I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday and a wonderful three day weekend. And as always Go Warriors!
